Doris has written and implemented many Alcohol, Drug and Domestic Violence programs.  Some of those include the programming for Penrose Hospital’s Outpatient Treatment in Colorado Springs.  Doris began with one program and added six others to complete a treatment milieu that worked well for many people.  When completed, the program included DUI treatment, IOP treatment, women’s treatment and the first year long ACOA treatment in Colorado.

Doris wrote and implemented programs for Mercy Hospital in Denver, including DUI, ACOA and IOP.  Her skill lies in creating programs that work for large numbers of people.  Doris also wrote, implemented, and supervised all programming at Running Creek Counseling Service, Inc in Franktown, Colorado.  This included DUI, IOP, Women’s treatment, adolescent treatment, and domestic violence offender treatment (men and women).  This program is still in existence and provides a good service to the community.

Doris has served as a consultant to many programs both in Colorado and other states.  A list is available upon request.  She provides a good understanding of state laws regulating treatment and good understanding of how treatment works successfully for people.
