Doris has a lively interactive teaching style along with enthusiasm for the subjects she teaches and presents.  Students and participants say that time with Doris is a fun learning experience.  She also does teaching in other states besides Colorado. 

Doris has been an instructor for the Colorado Department of Health and Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Division for the past 20 years.  She teaches classes for counselor certification.  These classes are also approved for continuing education for other disciplines, such as nurses, social workers, Department of Correction Workers, and many more.
